My Top 10 Workout Songs

Workout songs are what get me through each and every workout. When I have my favorite workout songs playing, it really helps my strength and motivation and keeps me pumped. I tend to favor rock music for weightlifting and cardio. A lot of people seem to prefer rock for lifting and techno or r&b for cardio. Me? Not so much. My heart is with rock, whether I’m working out or not.

Here are my top 10 workout songs:

  1. Metalingus by Alter Bridge – I have to admit, I first heard this song watching WWE Smackdown. It’s Edge’s theme song. LOL! But…it is my absolute favorite song right now.
  2. Something in Your Mouth – Nickelback
  3. Burn it to the Ground – Nickelback
  4. Indestructible – Disturbed

  5. Electric Head Part 2 (The Ecstacy) – White Zombie
  6. Bad Girlfriend – Theory of a Deadman
  7. Hate – Drowning Pool
  8. I Don’t Wanna Stop – Ozzy Osbourne – One of my favorites. I especially like to run to it when I feel like stopping – it keeps me going!
  9. You’re Gonna Go Far Kid – The Offspring
  10. Girlfriend – Avril Lavigne – This is a great song for running because of the tempo, but I like to lift to it as well.

So those are my top 10 favorite workout songs. I hope I have written about at least 1 song here that is new to you and/or your workout music collection.
