My Daily Workout: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Abs & Cardio

Today my workout consisted of 1 chest exercise, 2 shoulder exercises and 1 triceps exercise. I normally would do 2 exercises for each but I kind of had to speed through my workout because my littlest guy wasn’t cooperating. :]

Chest

Barbell Bench Press – 65# 4 sets x 6 reps

Shoulders

Standing Shoulder Press – 10# 4 sets x 6 reps

Standing Lateral Raise – 5# 2 sets x 12 reps ( was going to do 4 sets, but had to get movin’)

Triceps

Triceps Pressdown – 25# 4 sets x 6 reps

Abs

Hanging Knee Raises – 2 sets x 20 reps – I’ve been doing these every other day to build them up. I can see my top 4 abs, but need some work on the lower abs. This morning when I woke up I could actually see their outline in the mirror, so the hanging knee raises are working!

Cardio

5 minutes for a warmup (prior to lifting) @ 4 mph

12 minutes of running at 5 mph (Again, had to hurry it up! I’d normally go for at least 20 minutes)
