My Daily Workout: Chest, Back & Cardio

For today’s workout, I did chest and back exercises and then finished with some cardio. It was a quicker day than I had anticipated but my kidlets were NOT cooperating so I had to cut my lifting routine a bit short because I wanted to make sure I got my cardio in.

Flat Bench Press

35# – 12 reps

55# – 8 reps

75# – 3 reps

Bent Arm Rows

10# dumbbells – 2 sets x 15 reps

Cardio

I did interval training on the treadmill. I started out doing 2 minutes @ 6MPH, then 2 minutes @ 3MPH. I did that for 10 minutes and it was really quite boring, so for the last 10 minutes, I alternated with 1 minute @ 6MPH, followed by 1 minute @ 4MPH – for a total of 20 minutes of interval training, plus the 5 minutes I did for warmup prior to lifting.

Tomorrow (4/3), will be one of my 2 rest days for the week. :]
