I had totally intended on doing some ab work prior to running but I completely forgot. Whoops.
For today’s cardio, I tried a new interval training workout and it was pretty tough for me. The good news is, it only last 22 minutes. It was a 20 minute workout, but I wanted to get to 2 miles because I was really close, so I ended up going for 22 minutes and 16 seconds, burning about 240 calories.
Here were the intervals I used:
I warmed up at 5 mph for 2 minutes, then 1 minute @ 6 mph, 1 minute @ 7mph, then down to 4 mph, and I just kept doing 1 minute of each 4, 5, 6 & 7 mph until I had been running for 2 miles.
I was sweating like a freaking hog too, but I love it! Makes me feel like I accomplished something!
