My Daily Workout: Cardio Interval Training

Since I lifted and did cardio yesterday, I only did cardio today. I was finally able to run today after getting a new tattoo on my hip this past Saturday so it felt good to run again. I couldn’t run as fast as I was prior to my tattoo because it’s still a little bit sensitive.

Here is the interval schedule I followed:

  • Minutes 1-5: Walk @ 4 MPH
  • Minutes 5-8: Fast Jog @ 6 MPH
  • Minutes 8-13: Walk @ 4 MPH
  • Minutes 13-16: Fast Jog @ 6 MPH
  • Minutes 16-21: Walk @ 4 MPH
  • Minutes 21-24: Fast Jog @ 6 MPH
  • Minutes 24-29: Walk @ 4 MPH
  • Minutes 29-32: Cool down, walk @ 4 MPH

Burning a total of 413 calories! :]
