How Tyra Banks Lost 30 Pounds

Tyra Banks is a former supermodel and the host of her daytime talk show, “Tyra” and she also created, “America’s Next Top Model” which is currently in it’s 13th cycle, or season, and airs Wednesday nights on the WB. Tyra is known for her curves and everybody knows that she embraces them, especially after her “kiss my fat ass” incident that happened in 2007. More recently, Tyra Banks has gone on to lose 30 pounds after suffering from really bad stomach aches in the past.

I feel good about my curves and my imperfections — my booty, my boobs, my thighs — I embrace it all,” she said. “Now I really can say … kiss my fat — and still fat — ass.

How’d She Do It?

By keeping a food diary. Tyra worked with nutritionist Heather Bauer, who helped Ms. Banks develop healthy eating habits. Bauer basically says that the first step into eating healthier is by keeping a food diary and writing down every single thing you eat. It’s also very helpful to write down how you felt after eating the food. This can help you pinpoint foods that cause problems like stomach pain, heartburn, etc.
