Outstanding stuff. I love the farmer’s market. Wonderful produce, and occasionally quality organic meats. Great read!
This is great. I really want to find some grass fed beef to eat.
I love going to the local farmers’ market. I try to be there every Saturday a.m. This week, I bought a few ears of corn; they were so sweet that they didn’t even need butter! A tip to anyone buying corn, ask if it has had any pesticides sprayed on it. If not, peel down the outer layers a little bit to check and see if there are bugs or a lot of bug damage. There’s usually not, but once in a while if you’re not careful you get a really bad piece.
I also have a question. What is the best way to cook fresh green beans? I bought some from the farmers’ market last week and they just weren’t very good when I cooked them. I want them to still be very healthy and nutritious though.
