As 2009 comes to a close, I wanted to create a “best of” post for this blog. I haven’t done it before and I think it’s a great way to summarize the year and what’s happened here at Melinda’s Fitness Blog.
Here is a top 10 list I created in no particular order:
- My Top 10 Workout Songs – Music is what can make or break a workout. I created this list of my top 10 workout songs because these are the songs that really helped me get through some tough workouts.
- Finding Motivation to Lose Weight – A Vision Board – I still have this vision board I created hanging on the wall in front of my treadmill. It continues to motivate me to get through my cardio workouts. Since the new year is right around the corner, I may even decide to make a new vision board since some of my goals have changed.
- Dr. Oz on The View: “How to Get Rid of Belly Pooch” – I watched Dr. Oz on The View the day this episode aired and I found it very interesting, especially since a lot of women who’ve had children can relate to the dreaded belly pooch.
- Reebok EasyTone Shoes for Women – I don’t believe these shoes can do everything for you, but they may be a great accessory for a workout.
- EatSmart Digital Bathroom Scale Giveaway – My very first giveaway and it was a success! I plan to do a few more of these in 2010! Let me know what you’d like to win!
- Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred – Yes, I personally reviewed this workout DVD and I actually did the entire workout myself. This review is completely honest and unbiased.
- Choosing a Certified Personal Trainer – If you ever decide to work with a certified personal trainer, read this post. It shows you how to choose one that doesn’t suck. Believe me, there are some pretty crappy ones out there who make you wonder how they even got the job.
- 12/3: Upper Body Workout + Interval Training – This workout is the most popular this year according to page views.
- About Melinda – Find out a little more about me, Melinda. There really is a face behind this blog – I don’t hide.
- My Stats/Daily Workouts – This link will take you to all of my daily workouts that have been posted on this blog.
I hope you have found my posts and articles to be informative and motivating. In the new year I plan to add more article-type posts to the blog and I will still continue to post my daily workouts as well.
If you are interested in reading more articles of mine that have been published on other sites, you can read a compiled list of my fitness articles right here on this blog.
If there’s anything specific you’d like to see here, please let me know by leaving a comment.
All the Best in 2010 and Beyond,
Melinda
