6/8: Arm Workout + Abs

Today I finally got a workout in! I have been sick for the past 3 days with a nasty cold so I didn’t get my Friday workout in. I still have near-zero energy today, but I took a caffeine pill and decided to do an arm workout and an abs exercise. Our wedding is in less than 8 weeks so I want to be sure my arms are in tip-top shape!

Here’s the workout:

Arms -

  • Reverse Pressdown: 3 sets x 15 reps (these are very awkward and I don’t know that I’ll be doing them again)
  • Hammer Curls: 3 sets x 10 reps
  • Bicep Curls (alternating arms): 3 sets x 12 reps
  • Overhead Press: 3 sets x 15 reps
  • Kickbacks: 3 sets x 12 reps

Abs -

  • Standing Dumbbell Twists: 2 sets x 50 reps

Whenever I do abs, I’m literally feeling nauseated by the time I’m finished. Must mean I’m working them pretty good. =)
