5/12: Women’s Strength Training Workout – LEGS

Stretching-Leg-WorkoutWow. Feeling quite weak after the leg workout I did today. It was the same exact leg workout I did last time and I can tell it’s gonna kick my butt again. I did a chest/biceps workout a few days ago but I forgot to post it! I’ll probably post it tomorrow morning.

Split squats are definitely somethin else! I can barely feel my legs when I’m done with them! I also hesitate before each set because I know how hard it’s gonna be, but it feels so good when I’m finally done!

Leg Workout

Split Squat (Weighted Lunge)

  • 1 set x 15 reps, 35#
  • 1 set x 12 reps, 40#
  • 1 set x 10 reps, 45#

Leg Extension

  • 1 set x 15 reps, 35#
  • 1 set x 12 reps, 40#
  • 1 set x 10 reps, 45#

Leg Curl

  • 1 set x 15 reps, 25#
  • 1 set x 12 reps, 30#
  • 1 set x 10 reps, 35#

Exercise Ball Hamstring Curl

  • 1 set x 15 reps
  • 1 set x 12 reps
  • 1 set x 10 reps

Standing Calf Raise

  • 3 sets x 20 reps, 35# (barbell)
