5/11 Workout: Back & Abs

My abs were burning yesterday from the ab workout I did on Saturday. They felt better today so I decided to do another ab workout. I’m planning on doing ab workouts 3 times per week. In addition to abs, I also did back today. I’m so happy to be back to a normal (for me) workout split.

Here’s today’s workout:

Back

Wide-grip Pull Downs – 3 sets x 8 reps (50#)

Seated Rows – 3 sets x 12 reps (45#)

Barbell Goodmornings – 3 sets x 15 reps (35#) – It’s been so long since I’ve done these!

Abs

Bicycle Crunch – 3 sets x 15 reps

Exercise Ball Roll-in – 3 sets x 15 reps

Hanging Knee Raises – 3 sets x 15 reps (using a 5# dumbbell)

My back is feeling pretty tired and my abs were burning by the 2nd set of the first exercise so I think I did pretty well today. =)
