MY LEGS ARE TIRED!!!!!! When I sit down I feel like I’m sitting on my butt and have NO legs at all underneath. I pushed myself really hard today and it feels great. Normally I would’ve done my strength training workout yesterday, but we had our new bedroom furniture delivered and we had to finish painting so that was our priority yesterday. The good news is that it’s finally all set up. The bad news…it was really hard to workout today. Normally Sundays are just for running and that’s hard enough, but doing a heavy leg workout was even harder. Leg days wear me out anyway and having that be on a Sunday was not one bit helpful!
Since I didn’t do cardio after my arm workout on Thursday, I did do cardio on Friday. My youngest was playing downstairs while I ran and then he ended up bringing over a pillow and blanket and laid right down next to the treadmill for a good 20 to 25 minutes. Too bad I didn’t have a camera!
2/26 Cardio Workout
- 5 minute warm-up @ 4 mph
- 30 minute steady jog @ 6 mph
- 25 minute steady walk @ 4 mph

2/28 Heavy Leg Workout
Squats
- Warm up set: 1 x 15 reps, 35# barbell
- 4 sets x 6 reps, 90# (heaviest squat to date!)
Deadlifts
- Warm up set: 1 set x 15 reps, 35# barbell
- 4 sets x 6 reps, 105# (heaviest deadlift to date!)
Leg Extensions
- 4 sets x 6 reps, 70#
Leg extensions were pretty difficult to do after having done heavy squats and deadlifts. Several hours later and my legs still feel like they don’t exist. I’m completely worn out!
I’m watching the closing ceremonies for the Olympics right now and have to admit that I’m kind of sad. What am I gonna watch on TV at night now?? At least Biggest Loser is back this week! Which reminds me…tomorrow is March 1st already. Where does the time go!?
