Today’s workout included back exercises and bicep exercises and it was actually much harder than normal to complete and I have no idea why. I’m still fighting a nasty cold, though it’s gotten much better. I barely made it through my w0rkout because I was feeling so weak and fatigued, but I have no idea why.
I had originally planned on running afterwards but there was no way I could’ve today without passing out and flying off the treadmill somehow.
I ate the same amount of food and calories that I normally do on workout days, but maybe I need to eat more. It’s very possible that my body has built up some muscle mass which would require an increase in caloric intake to maintain my current weight.
Sometime before my next strength training workout I will re-evaluate where I’m at as far as weight, physical activity and caloric intake go. I will re-visit My Fitness Pal to make some new calculations to be sure I’m eating enough food to have the energy I need to complete my workouts. I’ll post my findings in an upcoming post.
Back Workout
- Assisted Pull-ups: 3 sets x 5 reps
- Bent-over Rows: 3 sets x 8 reps, 30#
- Barbell Goodmornings: 3 sets x 12 reps, 30#
Biceps Workout
- Chin-ups: 3 sets x 5 reps
- EZ Bar Bicep Curls: 3 sets x 10 reps, 30#
